Fs: Blunt Needles And Syringes To Fill Ink Catridges

Hi all -

I'm selling some blunt needles and syringes which can be used to fill ink vials or cartridges. (USA only, sorry). The photo below shows the needles and syringes next to some cartridges and coins for scale.

fpn_1302376489__syringe_small.jpg

At the top of the picture is the 3ml syringe in the original packaging. It's a leur lock syringe, which means the needle threads into the syringe (less likely to pop off unexpectedly than the slip on type). Below are the syringe with needle attached and the needle seperately, next to Parker, International standard and Lamy cartridges (just for scale). You can see the graduated markings on the syringe, up to 3ml. The needles are not sterile and have a blunt tip, definitely NOT suitable for medical purposes. Needles are 22 gauge, 2 inches long.

Price is $0.25 per needle and $0.50 per syringe, as few or many of each as you want. Shipping for any quantity is $2.50 to any address in the USA. Paypal only.

So, for example,

One syringe with needle would be .25 + .50 + 2.50 = $3.25

Or 4 needle and syringe sets would be $3 + $2.50 = $5.50 total.

Send me a PM or use the contact me link in my profile to send me an email. Let me know how many you need and your email address and I'll send a paypal invoice to you.

(edit to add gauge and pricing example)

I use mine all of the time. For bottled ink in my Pilot VP refilling carts greatly increases the capacity. Highly recommended.

You should have posted this 2 1/2 hours ago, i JUST bought some. Just checked, too late to cancel the order.

Edit: Mixed up times; I ordered then, this was posted earlier. Odd that I didn't see it, I did try to search for syringes to find a source.

Edit again: I'm really not doing well with numbers today. This post was 3:38pm, I got a confirmation email at 15:58 (3:58), so it wasn't here when I was looking. I should have checked back one last time before checking out.

Love these, highly recommend. I use mine for refilling and cleaning carts. Really simplified getting all the old ink spritzed out of the cart and then suck out all the water.

And best of all, no inky fingers when reinking a pen!

Now that I have mine in hand, I would note that these would be great for filling cartridges, cleaning cartridges, and the like. These are not necessarily the syringes I would use for mixing inks because I also have some 5mL sized syringes, but I'm very happy to have something more convenient now for cartridge work. The 5mL needles are a bit too tight a fit in international cartridges for my personal taste.
