Twsbi With Flex Nib!

Jared

Recommended Posts

I've added a wonderful Warranted #4 flexible fine nib to my TWSBI 530, and I couldn't be happier! It's the combination of an excellent modern piston fill pen with the vintage qualities of a wonderful flexible nib. I tried many of my flex nibs--Waterman #2, #4, #5, Swan and Aiken Lamert, but this one fit best.

When those vac's hit the street i'd like to do something similar. Very nice effect you've accomplished.

Wow that is an unbeatable combo.

Did you tweak the feed in order to keep up with the increased ink flow?

No modifications were necessary. I just pulled out the nib & feed, and replaced the nib. The Warranted nib (which came from an old BCHR no-name eyedropper) was a bit shorter than the TWSBI nib, but it fit well against the feed. So far it's working well.
