Can Someone Post A Writing Sample With A Mb146 With A Broad Nib

I am thinking of purchasing a MB 146 with a Broad Nib and would like to see a writing sample from this pen with that size of nib. I am torn between the Broad nib and a Medium nib. The MB 146 would be used as a daily work horse with my other pens. Just not sure which way is the best to go. Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

Here's one I posted earlier. I recommend getting to a boutique and trying their tester 146s.

Thank you for your effort. Lovely hand writing. I like the line variation. I have noticed that your horizontal lines are thinner than the vertical lines. My 146 with OB nib is the opposite. Horizontal lines are thinner than the vertical lines because the width of the nib is wider than the thickness of the nib.

here's a quick and dirty shot of my broad-stub MB 146 (against a medium 149):

Thank you. I can see the variation between the horizontal and the vertical lines in your 146 with broad nib. Similar to mine.

My 146 with OB Nib. Please excuse my spelling mistake and untidy hand writing.

I like the line variation with Broad Nib. The width of the nib is larger than the actual thickness of the nib so that the horizontal lines are thinner than the vertical lines.

Medium Nib is good for every day general use especially if you use lines paper. A Broad Nib pen will be good for plain paper. Some Broad Nib fans may not agree that statement. Good luck. Htin

Here's another broad nib sample from a 146 stainless steel Solitaire. The tallest letter is about 4 mm.

Edit to add: I find 146 broad nibs to be a bit finer than 149 broad nibs.
