For those unfamiliar with the product: the Neo is a word processor for writers that runs off three standard AA batteries, and lasts over 700 hours on a single set of batteries. It stores text in eight file spaces, and can transfer the text to any PC or Mac (even Linux machines). For text entry, the Neo beats laptops and notebooks hollow--it turns on instantly, runs cool, can be used in direct sunlight thanks to the monochrome LCD screen, doesn't distract with the Internet or games, and runs for a year or more of regular use on just three AA batteries.

 

This Neo comes with the USB transfer cable, the Alphasmart Manager software on CD, and the user manual. Direct from the factory, the Neo sells for $169, and used ones don't usually sell for much less on fleaBay.

 

This one is $95 shipped CONUS. PayPal works best for me. The unit is moderately used but not abused, and is guaranteed not DOA.
