I have a 58 in the same pattern also. It writes wonderfully. Nice catch!

"how do I know what I think until I write it down?"

Beautiful pen! I've been looking for a CS in exactly that pattern.

I noticed a CS 28 in this pattern on ebay at the moment, though it is labelled as a CS 27. It is item No 110586087962

It looks exactly the same!

The same seller has a CS 27 also in grey hatch celluloid labelled as a CS28. Item No 110586088166

They must have got them mixed up.

Didn't even see this thread til today

I just bought of them by putting in random $50 bids not expecting to win. The seller must have fixed the listings when I bid.

  • 2 weeks later...

So I got them today and it's not the pens that were mixed up, it's the caps...

The 28 looks good, the 27, not so much

I contacted the seller at the time pointing out the problem. They said that they would withdraw the pens and re-list them correctly but it didn't happen, so it's just as well that you got both and could sort them out. :)

Nice review but I wouldn't consider the 28 a small pen in the overall scale of things.

Thanks for the kind comments. It will not be the last CS that I own. I have to concentrate on my writing as my fine motor control is a bit wonky and things can easily get a bit scruffy. I have always found a fountain pen to help a lot.
