Hi All,

I have a tray full of vintage Japanese pens for your consideration.

1. 1950s Kamakura Bori large eyedropper. The color of this pen is a dark brown urushi. Through the bori carved patterns on the pen layers of orange and black urushi can be seen. The carving patterns also give the pen a very nice tactile feel. It is a eyedropper and will probably need new seals. It measures 13.5cm and 16cm posted. The diameter of the barrel is 14mm so it is a pretty good size pen. It has a large size 5 14K gold nib. It is fine but also with plenty of flex. The clip and cap band are R14K and show signs of brassing.

I am asking $185 which includes delivery

2. A very unique Pilot custom. I am not sure of the model of this pen as it rarely comes up for sale. I have sold one before and this is the second one I managed to get. What really unique about this Pilot is the integrated Con-70 which is built into the barrel and also has an ink view window which is totally unique. The Con-70 is a really great converter that holds a lot of ink. The pen has a 14K large (looks like a size 10) fine nib and writes beautifully. I have only dipped the nib to test it out. The pen is brand new and has never been filled. The cap is a snap on cap that closes firmly and securely. It measures 14cm capped and 16cm capped.

Asking price is $210 including delivery

3. Pilot Grandee. This is a lacquered pen over brass. There is a small chip on the lacquer right above the section. The color is navy. It is a user grade pen with a nice integrated 14k fine nib. It fills with con-20 or cartridge. The converter is included. I am asking $60 including delivery

4. Pilot Elite from the 60s. This is a nice pen in Rolled Sterling Silver. It has a nice pinstripe pattern and red top and bottom jewels. The nib is integrated thumbnail style 18K fine white gold and writes really well like most vintage Pilot pens. It measures 13cm. Filling is with standard Pilot cartridges or con-20. Asking price is $115 which includes delivery

5. A 1950s Pilot lever filler pen. The cap is rolled 14K gold and has a beautiful sword style clip. The pen measures 12.5cm capped and 14.5cm posted. The lever filler works great. The nib is 14K Extra Fine size 3, with a lot of flex. Condition is excellent. Asking price $120 including delivery.

6. A 1950s Pilot lever filler pen. This is made out of black celluloid with mother of pearl like inserts. The pen measures 12cm capped and 14.5cm posted. The lever filler works great. The nib is 14K Extra Fine size 2, with a lot of flex. The pen will need a new ink sack and is sold as is. Apart from that condition is great. Asking price $90 including delivery.

7. A 1950s Master Eyedropper pen. It still has the original sticker on it. Master was a large second tier manufacturer in Japan that made some pretty good pens. This one is made from a nice warm pearlescent celluloid with very beautiful color pattern and depth. The nib is steel and fine. Condition: NOS. Asking $70 including delivery

8. A Platinum Bonita in orange lacquer with gold dust sparkles. I think these pens were made in the 1970s . It still has the price tag with it. It was priced at 6000 Yen back then. It has an 18K fine integrated nib and takes standard platinum cartridges. It is in like new condition. $85 delivered.

9. A 1960s Pilot Elite (I believe) made out of Sumatran lizard skin. The pen is in excellent condition and comes with a beautiful matching lizard skin pen pouch, which of course I will include. It is a rare pen. It has a fine 18K nib and fills with a con-20 or cartridge. I don’t think it has ever been inked. Asking $170 including delivery

10. A 1970s Platinum pin striped steel short/long pen. Measuring 11.5 cm capped, when posted it is a full sized pen at 14.5. It has an extra Fine / Fine 18K nib and fills with platinum cartridges. A very well made solid pen. Asking $65 including delivery

11. A 1970s Sailor short/long pen. Capped it measures 11cm and posted 14.5. It is NOS still with the original sticker on it. 18K fine nib and fills with sailor cartridges. Asking $55 including delivery.
