I chose B... it is the favorite of my current MB nibs.

I'm pretty much set that my next MB pen will be a BB. Now to just find a used 146 or 149 with the BB nib at a price I'm willing to pay.... luckily, I'm patient.

I couldn't vote. My OB isn't up there. I love that nib. I can't wait for the opportunity to try something larger.

These are 149 feeds. The only one that is plastic is the one on the right side. The other three are ebonite. 146 feeds are slightly different.

Where does a split feed fit in? It looks like a second one from right, but a split in the sloped face on top.

Also, what is the broad shouldered nib and tapered nib for 149?

Thank you in advance

Hi,

The split ebonite feed would fit between feeds #3 and #4 (from L>R)in the picture, timeline wise, late 70's to early 80's I believe.

My eye for the broad vs tapered shouldered nib is not keen enough..so I can never really tell them apart when in a picture by themselves. Always need to see them side by side. Someone else will chime in about the time frames for these nibs..

I love how they had to use two stickers to make the correct nib size..

For me, plain broad.

The sword is mightier than the pen. However, swords are now obsolete whereas pens are not.
