To this hall of distinguished 'Green Pens' I present two of my humble greenies...

1. A green Sheaffer NN.

And...though not a FP...but green, yes...

2. Parker Pencil 1954 - Forest Green.

Two modern Omas pens in Saft Green celluloide.

Omas Paragon and Fahrney's Pens (Washington D.C.) Campidoglio Campidoglio:

Omas Fahrney's Campidoglio:

Omas Ogiva in Foglie d'autunno celluloid:

LOVELY pens! :)

Could you tell us more about that "Campidoglio"?

Thanks. The Campidolgio was a pen commissioned by Fahrney's Pen in Washington, D.C. -- hence "Campidoglio" which means "Capitol" in Italian. They commissioned it for one their Pen Fairs; I asked and they told me 2006. They made 200 FP and I'm pretty sure 300 RB.

The flat-top round design is "retro", a modern take on the original round lever-filler Extras, Lucens, and post-war piston fillers before the Ogivas became the round Omas shape. There are other pens with this design. Omas made some FP and RB sets in small quantities in Arco Brown, Arco Green, Spine di Pesce (Arco brown cut to give a ripple effect), and Burkina. There are some other commissioned pens with this design as well, e.g. Urbano VIII in Wild/Galileo, Musso Stilografiche (Turin, IT) 75th Anniverssary in scarlet, A.C. Vecchietti (Bologna, IT) 80th anniversary in blue saffron.

The modern Lucens LE pens are also similar, but the Lucens don't have the step in barrel like the Campidoglio and the others. The LE Lucens were turned like the originals 1936+ pens with clean barrels.

Anyone becomes mannered if you think too much about what other people think. (Kim Gordon)

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

Just in this morning to add to the Bexley collection, a Decoband prototype in ebonite Green Smoke with solid 14K trim. Based on the material and cap band design I date this to ca. 1999 as a prototype of the Decoband '99 collection.

Here's one of my most treasured vintage pens in green color .... a Diamond Point fountain pen in Jade Green hard rubber from the 1930s with a 14k Warranted #4 Superflex nib that writes a fine to double broad line. Gorgeous looking pen and phenomenal flexy writing capabilities. It is shaped with domed ends like a Conklin Crescent.

Need a pen repaired or a nib re-ground? I'd love to help you out.

Some of the pens posted here are quite desirable.

For sure, all of them are great. Good stuff, guys. Nice of everyone to take the time to show 'em.

My pictures are of poor quality and my pens are of low volume, but I hope my few greens currently on hand are of enjoyment to some!

Thanks guys. Yes that Chilton is something else. Can you believe I had put it up for sale :gaah: Sanity prevailed and decided it is a keeper. Here is another green pen which is one of the classiest piston filler designs I have seen. It is Italian - Ercolessi
