Is it easy to replace a Parker nib?

I'm thinking about buying a Parker sonnet (actually dreaming so this is purely a hypothetical situation), and I found a really beautiful elegant model with a two-tone nib at a penshop I frequent. However, it is a medium nib and I would really like to try a fine nib (my other pen a Cross Century II is a medium nib) for experimentation purposes. Unfortunately the shopkeeper doesn't carry a fine nib.

How would I go about finding and replacing this nib? Is this something that can be easily done? Does anyone have any idea of the price range?

Thanks

Here's a page from John Mottishaw website, where you can find a wide range of nibs and price:

Yes, it is very easy to replace the nib and if you dont want to buy new one and doesnt like M then send the pen to Parker company location in your are and they will replace it for free under one condition that there is no damage to the nib.

Enjoy

How about replacing a Parker 51 nib? I have one that's scratchier than I'd prefer, and if there's a way to get a new-ish nib and install it myself that would be great. Any advice/links?

...actually, parker51.com seems to sell the replacement nibs, so I guess I'm just looking for good pics/walkthrus of how to actually do the disassembly etc.

While we are on the subject, has anyone had problems with replacement nibs. I own a sonnet with a medium nib that has been dropped once or twice. It still wrote fine but I decided to replace the nib. I got a brand new fine nib and a new converter (got the piston instead of that awful slide pump). I've inked it and it's now writing like a very wet medium instead of a fine. I'd almost go as far to say it's gushing ink. Now I have only just filled it so it might be residual ink but has anyone had a problem like this one?

Bump - any help or opinions about too fast flowing nibs would be appreciated.
