Parker Duofold Senior “Big Red” Permanite, smooth medium nib

Offered for sale is this beautiful Parker Senior Duofold “Big Red”. This pen dates from approximately 1928 and features the spear feed and double cap band. Excellent condition, with just a touch of plating wear on the clip ball and a slightly weak but fully readable imprint. I have fitted a fresh sac and the pen is ready to write.

The nib is a really smooth medium which is a real pleasure to use. Hopefully, you can see how well it writes from the writing sample.

Not much more to say here. A true classic from the Golden Age of Fountain pens, which writes as well as it ever did.

Every discerning collection should include one.

I have to give this a gratuitous bump. I cannot believe someone hasn't bought this pen. If I hadn't just dumped some cash into some recent acquisitions, I'd be all over it.
